James Bond Island

James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan) is a famous attraction in Phang Nga Bay. A distinctive feature of this famous bay is the number of sheer limestone cliffs that vertically jut out of the emerald-green water. Khao Phing Kan it was chosen as one of the locations for the 1974 James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. After the movie release it turned into a popular tourist destination.

Ban Sam Chong Tai is a small Muslim fishing village located on the land of Phang Nga bay. The small village of Ban Sam Chong Tai is constructed predominantly on wooden stilts and raised masonry to protect from humidity. They leave early in the morning with their own longtail boat to collect the nets they thrown the night before. This place is very popular for passionate photographers who come here to capture beautiful and colorful sunrises that emerges behind the giant limestone mountains, as well as some amazing shots of this serene village situated along the canals.
